Reviews

I just spent the last hour reading and skimming the eInspection copy of the new Digital Society textbook, and it is simply the textbook that is most closely aligned with a DP subject guide that I have ever seen. I have taught ITGS, TOK, and CS, and none of the textbooks that I have looked at for these courses even come close. I feel like anyone who attempts to teach DS without this textbook is at a severe disadvantage. I really look forward trying to deliver the course with the assistance of the textbook. Kudos to Barbara Stefanics and all the other authors!

Just spent a wonderful hour with a cup of coffee, browsing through the eInspection copy. What an amazing job the whole team has done. I was already really looking forward to starting to teach DS, having just finished a course with Barbara Stefanics. Now, I'm buzzing! This is a must for anyone teaching DS.

It was always so difficult for us as teachers to recommend a book for ITGS to the students as despite there being many books in the market in the name of ITGS, none of them aligned well with the course requirements especially the assessments, IA, EE, case study and even the content specific to ITGS. I am glad that this will not be the case anymore [after seeing the eInspection copy] as we will have access to the Digital Society book very soon authored by some of my favourites and the best ones in this field including Barbara Stefanics, Eli Bomfim, Tammy Earle and Carol Hancox with whom I had the privilege to work on different assignments. I am sure that this book will help students and teachers alike to meet the course objectives.
